HELLO EVERYONE,                             Monday, February 16, 2015

This week was fantastic. come sempre.

Monday we enjoyed FHE with this really cool Brazilian from our ward named Ragione. She’s awesome!  It’s so cool how their culture is to just give you everything. She made us this delicious, delicious Brazilian stroganoff.  She’s so cute!!!!!!!!  She has to work a lot but we are working with her to get her to the temple! yayayaayaya.

Also this week guess who I got to hang out with for 24 hours?!?!  SORELLA WINEAGER from the MTC.  She is in my zone now and we got to do a scambi together.  It was so sweet.  She is as wonderful as ever.  We did an appointment and some finding.  It’s so fun to be with people from the MTC, especially Sorella Wineager. ahh she’s so great.  I attached some pics.  It was like being with a best friend that I hadn’t seen in forever.

Sad news of the week was we can’t keep seeing Walter and Salvatore.  As we previously met with them we noticed some serious mental issues.  We love them though!!!!

I’ve had to use crutches for a couple days.  It makes me prettty slow haha.  This whole foot thing has been ridiculous.  I couldn’t walk on my foot so I had to bring crutches to church.  Of course all the members were overly worried.  hahahahhahaha so funny.  They all were like, "SORELLA!" But my foot feels much, much better now.  Don’t worry attt allll. Slowly but surely I’ll recover fully.

Valentine’s Day....was FANTASTIC.  Here’s how it went. We had a delicious pranzo made by me and Sorella Mazzarella, but mostly Mazz because she’s the best cook ever.  I sent a video of it. soooo yummy.  Also, these girls from English course bought us all (all the missionaries) Lindt chocolate. It was sooo good.  They are the cutest!!!!!!!!!

Also on Valentine’s Day a cool thing happened. We went to visit this less active lady who is really cool. But while we were waiting for her to pick us up from the bus stop we went into a nearby “bar” to buy some water and sit down (because of my foot).  We talked to the lady working at the bar for a little bit about the church and stuff, but then we went to go sit down because another costumer came in.  When we got up to leave I had this thought that I should buy the lady some chocolate for valentine’s day.  In Italy, Valentine’s Day isn’t really for families or friends, only for people that are in love.  I asked her what she was doing for Valentine’s day and she said nothing, and that she lived alone, worked alone, and that her husband died 10 years ago.  I told her we had to leave but that I wanted to buy chocolate first.  Sneaky as I am I was like, "I’m not sure which one to get...which one is YOUR favorite?"  She chose one, and then as soon as I bought it I handed it to her and said, "This is for YOU!  Happy valentine’s day!"  Her face was so shocked haha.  I don’t think anyone had done something nice for her in a really long time.  She just started laughing and smiling.  Then she said, "Well I have to give one to YOU now!"  So she gave me a chocolate and then Sorella Mazz and I left.  It was just such a fantastic experience.  Best valentine’s day gift I’ve ever given or received.  We hope to go back to that bar and teach that woman!

So the week was good.  We worked hard, but also had to rest my foot a little bit which drove me CRAZY but whatevs.  I’m hoping by the end of this week everything will be completely healed.  speriamo bene!  This week is zone conference, so that will be really fun!!!!!! There are people in my zone that I’ve never met yet!  So I’m excited to meet some good people and to see president.  Should be another fantastic week in Sardegna!

THIS WEEK HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DAD AND KEVIN! You guys are the bestest.  I sent a package and I think it should get there right one time! hopefully.
