Sorry to confuse everyone yesterday. Our
Pday was switched to Tuesday this week because we had a special conference
yesterday. Sorry mom, I don’t think we can do pics this week. But I
promise next week YOU GET TO SEE MY FACE IN REAL LIFE hahaha. Plus I get to see ALL OF YOUR FACES IN REAL
LIFE. Weirddnesssss. I’m excited!!!!!!
SHOUT OUT TO TWIZZLEEEEE who’s turning 18 this
week!! AHHH HE’S SO OLD. Ty, do you think you’re just gonna wake up
with a beard on your birthday? ‘cause that would be siiiick. I wrote you
a letter but I’m sending it today so it’s going to be late.....
These past couple weeks have been nuttso
crazzy. I got Sorella Marquis out the door and two more in it! I
had tons of cleaning slash get everything ready to do and I was companions with
Sorella Barazoto so we were switching around from being in Ostia and Ladispoli ahhh it was crazy. I miss Sorella Marquis
for reals, like a lot. That woman is a stud. Mom, I will get her
address, she will love some cookies I’m sure haha. Being in a trio is good. Sorella Barona
was in my MTC group with me. She is the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen, very
motherly and just stellar. Sorella Henson is crazy but I love
her!!!!! She has a lot of energy and is stoked about her last
transfer. I think we will work way hard this transfer which I’m excited
about. AND GUESS WHAT? They BOTH like to run. Whoooo hoooooooo. So
stoked about that. ahhh it feels so good to run. So ya this week was
crazy.
Lucy, Domenica and Ida were all in church
yesterday so that was fun! One cool
thing we did this week was show people the Christmas video, "The
gift" on the street. It’s crazy how much the Spirit comes when we
watch it. We got some numbers from it actually so that was really, really
cool. I love Christmas time! It’s such a good way to have more
people listen to you.
As far as Christmas plans, we have pranzo with
a member on Christmas and then Christmas Eve we have cena with Ida. It’s
exciting!!! Christmas in Rome should be really, really, really
cool!!
Cool miracle of the week.....
It’s FREEZZING. Ugh it’s humid and cold and we
don’t have heat in our house. haha. We went to an appointment on Wednesday. I’ve
been worried about finding a warm coat that isn’t too expensive but haven’t had
a second of time to look for one. We went to the appointment and the lady
was like, "IS THAT THE BIGGEST COAT YOU HAVE!?!?!" And I was like,
"well I’m looking for one right now." and she ran to her closet and
was like, “take this one while you look, you have to!!!!!!! So now I have
a nice warm coat while I try to find one. It’s a blessing for sure.
Reminds me of this scripture in the Book of Mormon, "Therefore, take no
thought saying, what shall we eat? or, what shall we drink? or, wherewithal
shall we be clothed? For your Heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all
these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and
all these things shall be added unto you.” 3 Ne 13:31-33.
Life in Ladispoli is so so so so so good.
I love it here. I love that I get to testify of Jesus Christ every
day. I literally just talk about Christ with random people on the
street. It’s a blessing!!!!! The people of Italy need the gospel,
and I’m happy to give it to them.
I love you all! Next week I’ll tell you
what time works for skype. We haven’t quite figured it out yet.
