Hey!
Ok.  I know you're curious about where I'm going!
So yes I’m being transferred
And I will be going to....
BARI IN PUGLIA
You guys. I have to say that Bari is one of those "dream cities," especially for sister missionaries.  I'm so stoked. Out of my mind.  But the good news doesn't finish there.  I'm going to be...
In a trio!  Again!  Hahaha.  But this time with Sorella Tapia!  Sorella Tapia is THE BEST.  She was in Sardegna with me for three transfers and she seriously is the coolest ever.  I thought they were joking when they told me.  Haha. She's one of the best people ever.  So
that's sooooo exciting.  And also Sorella Rackham!  She came in the mission with Sorella Embley and everyone says she's super duper awesome.  I gotta say I'm so stoked.  I'm going to be in a house of five sisters.  So weird since I've only been in houses of two my whole mission.  But I really just feel so blessed and so excited to end my mission in Bari.  I'm so thankful!  (Mom and Dad: Bari is a great vacation spot. Also the food is incredible. You’ll love going there.)

Comunque.  With every transfer call, changing cities it's tough.  I am so sad to leave Messina. I have loved serving in this city with Sorella Embley.  I'm going to miss her so much!!! It will be so tough saying goodbye to all the members and everyone else. I just hate saying goodbye to these people who you pray for and do everything you can for and it’s just not easy to leave them!  I'm thankful for Facebook and technology that can help me stay in touch.  Sicily is the craziest, most wonderful place in the world.  I'm gonna miss it!

Some stuff about this week.
Grandma!  We got to go visit the referral that you gave me from Silvana.  This is what happened... We figured out which bus to take and
went out there.  We found the church easy peasy but got a little lost after that....after about 20 min of looking and talking to some people we figured out where she lived.  We saw the name on the citofono and my heart was so happy!  Silvana’s brother-in-law was outside his house fortunately, so we told him the story of how we knew him and he welcomed us in!  He and his wife are so cute.  We had a nice conversation.  We showed them a video about Christ and testified of Him.  The spirit was very strong!  They are pretty Catholic, but said we could keep visiting them.  I'm sure the Sorelle will continue going every once in a while and also see if any of their relatives are
interested in the gospel. It was a great experience!

Monday night we got to eat dinner at our Bishop’s house!  It was so fun.  The bishop and his wife have only been married for a year and a half.  They are soooo cute.  Our bishop has been in the bishopric since he was 22!  They are great examples.

Giuila came back from Korea this week!  Ahhhhh.  It was great to see her.  And she brought a package for me from Courtney full of cool Korean stuff.  How awesome.

Luisa left this week.  (She was the one who moved here and hadn't been to church in like 5 years but called us and wanted to come to church.)  We worked with her a ton. She decided to go back to Rome, which was sad.  But she sent us a text after she left and said, "Sorelle you have helped me so much and don't worry, I will never leave the church again." It was so wonderful to hear and see her apply the love of Jesus Christ in her life.

Funny story. We were teaching this lady a lesson and before the lesson we were talking to her and she mentioned she had a migraine.  I told her I was sorry and that also I have suffered from migraines.  I told her I had had a little headache too that morning.  All the sudden she stood up and came over to me and started giving me a massage!  I was just kinda shocked and also had no idea what to do. It helped though!  Hahha.  Italians are the best.

Speaking of Italians being the best...Tyler that is so funny that you met an Italian.  I'm not gonna lie to you, when you were describing teaching him I was nodding my head like, "yup, yup, yup."  I've gotten really good at interrupting people while they are talking, and also bringing them back from talking about their neighbor’s dog barking at night, to answering the question, "Who is God for you?" haha. That guy sounded kinda like a dumbo though so don't judge all Italians off him!  They are wonderful!

Speaking of Italians being wonderful, we had such a great lesson with Sfefania this week. (She's the one whose mom is a member.)  We taught her about the plan of salvation with the Bishop’s wife and it was soooo good.  She loved it! She came to church yesterday and all the members fell in love with her.  She is such a kind and wonderful person, holy cow. She is so prepared and has been keeping the commandments legitimately her whole life.  She is golden.  I was so sad to say goodbye to her.

Ummmm so there is still not water in Messina.  I guess people have water for like 2 hours a day or something.  They say it might be this way for around two months.  They called an expert from the north to try and fix the problem.  I know I shouldn't laugh about this but it just is something that really would only happen in Sicily.  The church has water though so life is good.

Sunday was crazy!  I bore my testimony and said goodbye to everyone.  I'll send a bunch of pictures.  Then we ate pranzo with Sorella Giorganni who is one of my favorite people in the world.  We had...I figured out it’s called…"fennel" in English.  I've never heard of it before but it's like the yummiest pasta I have ever had.  It's that wild herb.  Anyway, we had the funniest pranzo with her. Mom and dad I can't wait for you to meet her.

Today we have lots to do and everything will be super busy while I get ready to leave.  Next week I'll write you all about Bari!

Today I was reading in the Book of Mormon about when Christ comes to ancient America!  It's so cool because he totally just talks about how simple the gospel is; faith, repentance, baptism, and continuing to follow him.  So simple.  If you guys want some homework you could study 3 Nefi chapters 11-18 and write down all the principles Christ teaches. It's cool.

The church is true!  I love the mission.  These people are wonderful and I will miss them so much.  Time is going waaaaaay too fast.  Italia is a beautiful place.

I hope you all have a great week and do fun things. Maybe even drink a slurpee or some apple cider.  I miss that stuff.

Vi voglio bene!
Sorella Brunson
