Hey HEY HEY. Monday,
May 25, 2015
So you're probably all wondering about
transfers. I was thinking about maybe just not telling you. How FUNNY would
that be. making you guys wait a whole other week wondering where I am in the
world? hehe.
But I won’t do it.
So we got transfer calls Saturday and I’M
STAYING. WOW. haha. Pretty much I'll be a legitimate Sardanian after
this. This is Sorella Vasilachis last transfer, so she will die after
these 6 weeks. Then I'll probably stay
and train someone else on the city before I am transferred. We're looking at a total of 5 transfers or
around 8 or 9 months in CAGLIARI total, half my mission haha and I’m so
stocked. Seriously. I love this city, and I’m so excited to do another
transfer with Sorella Vasilachi. Life is
stupendous. Sorry you guys don’t get to
see any pics of another city but va bene because this city is cool cool cool!
Comunque this week was super duper
fantastic. Big news of the week....
GAIA IS GETTING BAPTISED!
No, I’m not joking. It’s a serious thing and it’s happening on
June 6th, 3 days before my birthday. Happy
birthday to me aahhhhhhhhhhhh. We are so excited for her. On Sunday she
came up to us and said, "Sorelle. I want to be baptized as soon as
possible." She loves to read the
Book of Mormon and loves coming to church. The Anziani had a baptism on Saturday and Gaia loved his
baptism. It’s so exciting how the work is hopping like crazy on this
island! There are only 14 missionaries here but we are working our tail ends
off. The Anziani had a baptism this weekend, then Gaia will be baptized,
then the Anizani have another baptism, then Betty will be baptized. After almost a year in the ward without a
baptism! You guys JUMP OUT OF YOUR
CHAIRS, the work is moving forth! People
are being blessed with the gospel of Jesus Christ! Their lives are
changing! Life is so good right now.
Being able to see Gaia change her life is so cool and the biggest blessing
ever. It’s so awesome because the gospel
will help her so much during the tough teenage years. She is the cutest
thing ever. I'll try and send another pic next week, idk if you even know
who I’m talking about haha.
This week was awesome. We went up to Sassari to do a scambio with the
Sorelle there. haha we took the BUS for 4 HOURS. Trial of faith. We're
gonnna take the train next time, haha. It was fun though. I got to
just sit and think for the first time in.....almost 10 months haha. I
just looked out the window and thought about life and my mission and everything.
It was cool beans.
The scambio was great, I got to teach a new
convert up there, Ilaria. She's rad. I also taught a cool African guy which was
sweet and one of the first times I've taught in English on my mission. It was super weird but cool. It was
stellar to see the Sorelle, we laughed our heads off together. way fun.
So after we headed back to Cagliari the Anziani
had a baptism Saturday. It was this
awesome guy name Gian Carlo who read the Book of Mormon in one day. not joking.
He's super cool and our investigators
came to the baptism so that was way way awesome. They really liked it!
All in all, life is fantastic. I’m super, duper
happy with everything. Missions are great. gosh Tyler’s leaving SO SOON. And congrats to Taylor Cannon! I can’t even believe that you will be serving
in WASHINGTON so cooool! And Grandma and
Grandpa are in the MTC now. Wow. Can I have their address? Also some pics of Crystalin’s baby would be
nice. Like I gotta see her!!!!!
This week we talked a lot about gratitude. I guess
the spiritual thought is to remember to live with gratitude. Because we have a lot to be thankful
for! President Uchtdorf has a way good “discorso” (talk) about gratitude:
“Essere grati in ongi circumstance”.....look
it up!
I love you all!
Life is good, and it’s almost
summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vi voglio a sack di bene
Sorella Brunson
