Hello,                                                                                        Monday, March 09, 2015

ELDER BRUNSON AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
I can’t even focus on writing this letter because TYLER IS GOING ON A MISSION TO NEW ZEALAND!   This is so exciting, for reals! I’m so stoked for him.  It’s the best mission ever (besides Rome Italy) but seriously he’s going to loooooveeee it.  ahhhhhhhhhhh.  I totally teared up when I read it, the baby that I am.  So stoked. What a blessing to be in the field with my baby bro.  Tyrone, you’re gonna do great things!

So anyway, this week was really, really good.
I ate worm cheese.  haha.  It is what it sounds like.  It was pretty gross haha.  Don’t worry, it’s not dangerous.  All Sards eat it.  It’s just super strong tasting.  There is a funny video but it’s too long to send, sorry.

Tuesday we had an English course party and it was super fun.  We played ping pong, ate food, and then we watched a little piece of "The Other Side of Heaven" and talked about missions and how awesome they are.  I think the students really liked it, the Spirit was super strong.  I really like the English course students here.  They are stellar.  They make me giggle.

On Wednesday Sorella Wineager and Sorella Sartena came through because they got transferred!  Sorella Wineager is headed to Palermo, Sorella Sartena is going to Tarento.   Sorella Wineager stayed with us for a night!  It was SO FUN, I love that woman.  We went to find some less actives way out in Vietnam.  It was great.  We saw one that Bishop wanted us to see so that was goood!  And we literally got on the bus right as a rainstorm hit haha.

It was SO WARM last Tuesday and Wednesday.  I couldn’t even believe it.  It was like June weather.  The sun was shining and life we sooo gooooood.  I’m such a summer person haha.  It got cold again but for those two days it was awesome.  Plus we have a perfect sun tanning place on our porch so that’s really great.  Language study + suntanning = a happy/browner Sorella Brunson.  See I still can do math!

The cool thing of this week was Stake Conference.  It was fantastic!  Anziano Kieran came from England.  He is in charge of the church in Europe and every missionary loves him so much.  He gave the coolest talks.  I wish you all could have heard them!  He’s super sincere.  He came up to us missionaries and just thanked us super sincerely for the work that we do.  It was really, really nice.  All the Sorelle came down to our house for stake conference, so that was nice.  This week we are going up to Sassari for a scambi!  It will be exciting to visit another city YAY and I’ll send some pics of the new Sorelle.

So we had Stake Conference on Saturday night and it was sooo good.  Then Sunday we had the other session and THREE PEOPLE CAME WITH US, WHOO HOO!!

Gabriella came!  She turned to me after and said, "wow, I really, really liked that. It really touched my heart a lot. I just felt it right here."  I was like, "It’s the Spirit WHOO HOOO!!!!"

Valentina came.  She’s 22 and has been reading the Book of Mormon on her own!  We were at English course and she pointed to a picture of Joseph Smith in the church and said, "That’s Joseph Smith, right?" and I was like, "whoooh how do you know?" and she told me she had been reading the Book of Mormon on her phone and watching Book of Mormon videos!  So we have an appointment with her on Tuesday and she came this Sunday.  She’s way cool.  She asked what we believe about the family and as we told her the Spirit was super strong.  I love telling people that families can be together forever.  I really think she might be d'oro. (golden).   I’m so excited to teach her!!!

Also Rachele came, she’s atheist, but is the one that I helped with math.  I can’t believe how much she’s changed since she started learning more about the church.  She called us Saturday to tell us how an English test went, and we were like, you should come to church!  and she did!  As I was listening to Anziano Kieran he started talking about the light that missionaries have, and how sometimes when you are around them you don’t know why, but you just feel happy.  He said that was the Spirit, and that Heavenly Father loves us.  He literally said it just for Rachele!!!!  That’s exactly how she feels about missionaries.  I hope we can help her to know that Heavenly Father loves her.  I wish everyone in the planet knew that!!!!

The good news is with Ty in New Zealand, more people will know it than did before!!!!!!!!! Missions are so cool.  Life is great, the church is true, and I LOVE GELATO.

Love,
Sorella Brunson

Happy birthday Cindy Ottley on the 10th, LOVE YOU!
