When In Rome....

Alrighty, so this week has been nutsso!!! And I don’t have a ton of time because we’ve got a lot planned for Sorella Marqui’s last pday!! And obviously she doesn’t have to email because she will be home tomorrow.  But...there’s actually some wicked cool stuff to say this week. 

I am staying in Ladispoli for next transfer!  whooopdog.  Obviously I will be getting a new companion (Mom, Sorella Marquis said she’s sorry but she can’t stay with me.  Although she would love some of your cookies so maybe you should hit her up with those!)  The real crazy thing is that I’m getting not ONE new companion..but TWO. Woahhhh.  Yessirie, I will be chillin in a trio for the next transfer.  Should be good.  My companions are Sorella Henson, and Sorella Barona.  Sorella Henson is dying this transfer (so I’m pretty much a killer) and Sorella Barona came in with me.  We were in the MTC together.  She is the sweetest thing in the world.  I’m excited!  So this week is really really nuttssoo.  I’ll be all over the place getting stuff ready and also I’ll be companions with Sorella Barazoto who serves in Ostia so we will be traveling between Ladispoli and Ostia.  Pheeewwwww.  I’m stoked though, it should be good.  Sorella Marquis just leaned over to me and said, "You’re gonna kill it this transfer!" so hopefully she’s right.  She mostly always is hahha. 

THE BEST THING OF MY ENTIRE LIFE HAPPENED THIS WEEK!!!!!!!  

I wish I could have you guess. But that doesn’t really work in an email.  So this is what it is….

THIS SATURDAY NIGHT I was here...in Rome...you were all waking up, getting the household chores done, cleaning bathrooms, complaining about having to do your work.  Meanwhile..I was.....

WATCHING A ROMA SOCCER GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  AHHHH.  It was the coolest thing of my whole lifeeeeee.  I can’t send pics this week but let me tell you, it was flipping awesome.  Roma was playing this dinky team but they were actually super good.  And we almost lost.

  

Here is a play by play.....After the first half it was 0-2.  We were LOSING to a lessor opponent.  Ugh.  Let me tell you, those Italians were not happy.  "Non e possibile" was heard throughout the stadium.  And there was a LOT of hand shaking going on in that place.  But, never fear.  We got a penalty shot so the score was 1-2.  Then in the last MINUTE of the game, number 4, hottie with a blonde mowhawk SCORED A GOAL!!!!!!!!  Ahhh that place went  wild.  Everyone was hugging each other and freaking out.  It was the coolest thing EVER.  I screamed my head off.

So ya, this Saturday was the best day of my life.  And don’t worry, we are allowed to watch either one soccer game or one opera during our mission.  So I wasn’t a crazy lady going apostate or anything.  A member named Jessica took us, she is the VIP member for my whole mission.  Also it was 25 euro...so part of Christmas eh???  

I GOT YOUR CHRISTMAS PACKAGE.  And I didn’t have to pay money to receive it.  I got grandma’s as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thank you so much!  I’m gonna wait to open it till Christmas.  yay!! 

Congrats to Tami and Chadd on their new baby!!! Tami is literally superwoman.  And Rowann is a cutie.  She’s gonna get all the babes, I can already tell.

What kind of pasta selection is in the US? Is there a lot of pasta? or not a lot? How many different types? Is it normal to have an isle in a grocery store solely for pasta?

This week we were teaching Ida.  She is doing well and really, really likes the church.  We gotta work on the marriage issue though.  Anyway, we hadn’t taught her about fasting yet.  But she rolls in to our appointment, sits down and then says this, "You know, I was thinking last night, and I think it’d be really good for me to fast on the first Sunday of every month." haha no joke.  We were like, "hey, that sounds like a great idea!!!!"  crazy. 

Alrighty well I’m gonna have to peace out.  Sounds like things are good at home and everyone’s happy.  Sorry about Ty’s transcript!!!!!!!!  I hope everything works out.  I’ll pray my brains out.
